Luxury Brand Communications Internship

The Clearly Collective is a women-owned and operated luxury branding studio specializing in custom gifting and textile storytelling. We create bespoke, emotionally resonant products that blend design, craftsmanship, and narrative, serving both individual consumers and global brands.

Our direct-to-consumer collection features limited-edition silk scarves and keepsakes, designed in-house and inspired by the character of university campuses and seasonal destinations. On the brand side, we collaborate with some of the world's leading luxury names including McLaren, Richemont, and Ritz-Carlton to develop high-touch gifting programs, branded activations, and heritage-inspired pieces that reflect identity and elevate client experience.

Our flagship product is the custom silk scarf, crafted to the highest standard and designed to be worn, gifted, and remembered. At our core, we are storytellers who use textiles to bring brand and place to life with elegance and intention.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a creative and  curious Social Media & Communications Intern to join us this summer. You’ll support our social and content team in crafting high-performing, visually rich assets for platforms like Instagram and TikTok. From editing videos to shaping captions, this is a chance to contribute to the digital presence of a brand that blends fashion, design, and storytelling while learning how to create for a luxury audience.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with editing long-form and short-form video content (e.g. Reels, TikToks, BTS, storytelling formats) under the guidance of our social team
  • Contribute to drafting and refining social copy in our brand voice, with feedback and mentorship
  • Research current trends and report findings to help inform content strategy
  • Support the planning and organization of social content calendars
  • Help prepare and format posts for publishing 
  • Contribute creative ideas for upcoming campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling moments
     

Creative Test

Selected candidates will be asked to complete a brief creative test to assess technical skill, editing instinct, and alignment with our brand style:

  • Video 1: Edit an 8–10 minute talking video down to ~90 seconds with clean cuts, on-brand captions, and thoughtful visual enhancements.
  • Video 2: Create a trend-aware short-form video from raw clips, with a strong hook and engaging pacing.
     

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience editing short-form content (CapCut, Final Cut, Adobe, or similar)
  • A sharp design eye and a strong feel for visual storytelling
  • Currently studying communications, media, marketing, or design
  • Comfort with captioning, overlaying images or graphics, and editing audio
  • Awareness of current social trends, especially on TikTok and Reels
  • A creative POV and openness to feedback
  • Bonus: interest in luxury, fashion, interiors, or art
