Assembler III

Job Title: Assembler III (On-site – Mechanicsville, VA)
Pay Rate: $21.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: Mechanicsville, VA | 100% On-site
Assignment Duration: 12 months, with potential for extension or permanent placement based on performance and business needs

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Assembler III to join our team in a full-time, on-site role. This position is ideal for someone with strong experience in mechanical assembly, torque tools, and interpreting engineering drawings. You'll work under general supervision, performing tasks involving complex assembly and wiring for products and systems.

Key Responsibilities

Assemble, wire, and erect products and systems per engineering drawings and specifications

Read and interpret engineering configuration and wiring schematics

Follow both standard and nonstandard procedures to complete assignments

Ensure quality compliance with company procedures and policies

Coordinate tasks with other teams to meet project deadlines

May lead or check the work of junior-level assemblers

May work nonstandard schedules or in varying environmental conditions

Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

2–5 years of hands-on assembly experience in a manufacturing or factory setting

Experience using torque tools and mechanical equipment

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics

Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity

Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
