Role Overview:
As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for developing predictive models, generating insights from structured and unstructured datasets, and helping translate data into strategic opportunities. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, validate, and deploy machine learning models for prediction, classification, and recommendation
- Conduct exploratory data analysis and present actionable insights to stakeholders
- Collaborate with data engineers to build scalable data pipelines and ensure data integrity
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Plotly
- Work with large-scale datasets from multiple sources (APIs, databases, geospatial files, etc.)
- Communicate complex analytical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Stay up to date with the latest research, tools, and best practices in data science and AI
Requirements:
Essential:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in a data science role
- Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Solid experience with SQL and working with relational databases
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Ability to clearly document work and collaborate in cross-functional teams
Desirable:
- Experience working with time series, spatial-temporal data, or geospatial datasets
- Knowledge of deep learning techniques, NLP, or computer vision
- Exposure to MLOps tools and techniques for model deployment and monitoring
- Experience with big data tools like Spark or Dask

- We accept interns for a minimum duration of 2 months, with a preference for commitments of 3 to 4 months.
