Swing Phi is seeking a creative and driven Backend Developer Intern to join our growing team. As a vital part of Swing Phi, you will gain hands-on experience in building the backend infrastructure that powers our cryptocurrency-focused fintech platforms. What You’ll Do:
Design, build, and maintain backend services for our crypto-related applications
Work with real-time data pipelines for market data ingestion, analysis, and trading execution
Integrate with blockchain networks, DeFi protocols, and Web3 services
Optimize APIs and database performance for low-latency and scalability
Research and prototype solutions involving Layer 2 technologies and decentralized infrastructure
Write clean, secure, and maintainable code following best practices
Collaborate closely with front-end developers and product teams to ship new features
Troubleshoot and resolve backend performance and security issues
What We’re Looking For:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (junior or senior standing preferred)
Passion for cryptocurrency, blockchain tech, and the decentralized future
Proficiency in backend development languages such as Node.js, Python, or Go
Experience working with RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and authentication protocols
Familiarity with Web3 development, blockchain integrations, or DeFi smart contracts
Understanding of containerization (Docker) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus
Version control experience (Git) and comfortable working in collaborative repositories
Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly
Interest or background in machine learning or AI applied to financial data is highly preferred
