
Ecological Restoration Internship
Citizens for Conservation is looking for passionate individuals who are interested in pursuing a career in ecological restoration or natural resources. CFC’s 9-week paid internship offers college students a hands-on experience working to rebuild and manage prairies, wetlands, and savannas. Over the course of the internship, interns will learn how to manage invasive plants, collect and sow seeds from native species, and re-establish wetland ecosystems working side by side with a dedicated volunteer group and professionals in the field.
Preferred candidates are:
• Students studying or interested in Ecology, Biology, Environmental Science, or Natural Resources
• Able to spend all day outside off trails in all weather conditions
• Able to lift and carry 20-30 pounds
• A dedicated team member with a positive attitude
Start date: Tuesday May 27
End date: Saturday July 26
Work days: Tuesday - Saturday
Compensation: $17/hr
