Position

A Private Advisor team within our Rockefeller Global Family Office business unit is seeking a motivated individual to join its growing team as a Client Associate with the opportunity for other positions on the team. As part of a family office team, you will be tasked with duties that exceed those of a typical investment management associate. The Client Associate position is a full-time, on-site role that will work with our Private Advisor team members and interact directly with clients and colleagues. The ideal candidate will be the face of the practice, is thorough in their work, and operates with a high attention to detail. They should possess strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills, while also being driven to develop and grow in their role.

 

Responsibilities

  • Engage with ultra-high-net-worth clients daily to assist with their needs.
  • Facilitate account opening, client onboarding, and maintenance.
  • Handle asset transfers, money movement, and client cashiering requests.
  • Perform administrative and team management duties as required.
  • Support marketing efforts and business development efforts.
  • Prepare client correspondence.
  • Complete investment subscription documents.
  • Maintain and organize team files, documents, and procedures diligently.
  • Review daily activity and reconcile current client activity.
  • Assist clients with online access.
  • Manage and assist with clients' life events.
  • Oversee client insurance processes.
  • Prepare key documents, PowerPoint presentations, and reports for client meetings.
  • Prepare quarterly and monthly client performance reporting.
  • Attend client meetings as necessary and present client performance when needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

• 0-3 years prior client service experience within financial industry, or equivalent experience, preferred

• Series 7 & 63 preferred, and if not, must be willing to obtain

• BA/BS degree

  • General understanding of investments, insurance, personal finance, and retirement plans.
  • Excellent communication skills when engaging with new people.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with financial and estate planning software.
