The Role
We are looking for a recent graduate or early-career professional for the role of Algorithm Engineer who thrives on Large Language Models (LLMs). You will play a pivotal role in redefining smart homes with advancing the cutting edge of AI research and innovation.
What You'll Do
- Research and enhance LLM algorithms, including pretraining, fine-tuning, prompting, and RLHF.
- Design experiments to optimize model performance, efficiency, and scalability.
- Develop innovative techniques for specific focus areas (e.g., reasoning, multimodality, domain adaptation).
- Implement distributed training frameworks (e.g., DeepSpeed, Megatron-LM).
- Collaborate on deploying LLM solutions into production systems.
- Stay updated on state-of-the-art (SOTA) research by attending paper readings and replicating key experiments.
- Contribute to patents and publications in top venues (NeurIPS, ACL, etc.).
What You Bring
- Pursuing or holding an MS/PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, NLP, or a related field.
- Strong foundational knowledge: Transformers, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and distributed systems.
- Proficient coding skills in Python and a GitHub portfolio showcasing ML projects.
- Hands-on experience with LLM frameworks (e.g., HuggingFace, LangChain).
- Familiarity with LLM toolchains: quantization, LoRA, vector databases, and evaluation metrics.
- Self-motivated with a research-to-production mindset.
