Reflash Technician

We are looking for a Reflash Technician to work in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a semi entry level technician role for someone who has electronic and computer aptitude.  Looking for someone that has roughly 0-2 years of experience 

Responsibilities

  • Reflash of Instrument Clusters at customer sites.
  • The Reflash Technician/Application Support Technician will be responsible for performing electronic module software reflashes, vehicle level testing on electronic modules (Digital Instrument Clusters/displays) as required, ensure test results are summarized and documented.
  • The Application Support Technician will also collect CAN Logs and bus queries from customer vehicles, collect & compile health monitor data from fleet vehicles and share with Application Engineer (s).


Education:

  • Minimum acceptable: High School diploma or Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent years of experience. Plus factor - focus in Automotive/Motorcycle electronics and Infotainment

Skillset/Experience

  • Experience in Automotive Industry, component, system, bench test experience preferably with an OEM or Tier One supplier.
  • Working knowledge of CAN, LAN, OBD, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Bluetooth, Audio, Wi-Fi and Automotive protocols and respective tools.
  • Flashing/testing/debugging ECUs on bench and in vehicle using CAN Tools.
  • Will take individual with limited experience that wants to be hands on and has a willingness to learn.
