What You'll Do

This position is responsible for analyzing moderate business problems to be solved with automated systems. The role analyzes and designs business systems, diagnosing business needs, developing requirements, creating and implementing test plans, and providing ongoing project support during the development phase. The role performs post-facto comparisons of delivered solutions against original specifications and acts as an intermediary between technology and internal clients. The Associate Business Analyst implements improvements to existing processes and methodologies, while actively managing and escalating risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.   

How You'll Do It

Works with client management to identify and specify business requirements and processes for diverse development platforms, computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server), software, hardware, technologies and tools. Clearly identifies and ensures all known defects are understood and agreed identifies all known defects are understood and agreed by the business and technology teams prior to implementations. 

Researches and evaluates solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for systems/program design.

Develops system specifications and procedures. Delivers technology solutions that support business goals. Provides realistic project/release estimates and meets committed delivery dates.

Work with business partners to develop final requirements/user stories by the target dates. Identifies and resolves any gaps and negotiates problematic requirements. Manages and maintains overall project/release tasks and timelines. Communicates status updates and issues with management, the business, and other technology teams. 

Formulates logical statements of business requirements. Devises, tests and implements efficient and cost-effective application program solutions (e.g., codes and/or reuses existing codes through the use of program development software alternatives and/or integrates purchased solutions). 

Devises data verification methods and standard system procedures. May be required to participate in system testing.  


Qualifications You'll Need

The Basics

  • Bachelors Business Administration and Management
  • Bachelors Information Technology
  • 1+ years Minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent (U.S.), minimum 2:2 degree classification (non U.S.) or equivalent, or minimum 12 months of relevant full-time professional experience required.

Compensation:

The base pay for this role is annually. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
