Digital Transformation and Database Management Intern

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our team this summer. The intern will be directly involved in various projects related to our cloud-based platform, Cloud9, focusing on enhancing functionality, streamlining processes, and ensuring consistency across digital assets. The role will provide hands-on experience in digital transformation, product data management, and the use of cutting-edge technologies, including AI, automation, and system testing.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Management: Assist in populating and managing product information within our database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date data.
  • Platform Optimization: Work on enhancing the user experience of our Cloud9 platform by identifying areas for improvement in functionality and efficiency.
  • Competitive Analysis: Evaluate other portals and digital solutions to ensure our platform offers best-in-class features and functionality.
  • Visual Consistency: Collaborate with the product and design teams to ensure uniformity and consistency in the display of part images and product information across the platform.
  • AI & Automation: Explore and assist in the integration of new AI technologies to improve operational efficiency and innovation within the company.
  • System Testing: Participate in back-end system testing for new projects and automations, contributing to UAT (User Acceptance Testing) documentation and quality assurance processes.
  • Project Scoping: Assist in scoping new projects, collaborating with various departments to learn their processes, and help align new initiatives with business goals.

 

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in digital transformation, cloud platforms, and emerging technologies such as AI.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with basic coding or software development concepts is a plus but not required.
