Student Web Developer
Job description
Student Web Developer will work under the supervision of a team of technology experts responsible for the timely delivery and high availability of data and systems through iterative and rapid continuous improvement practices supporting administrative operations.
General Responsibilities:
- Code, test and debug the presentation, data and business logic layers of a web application
- Query data and perform data analysis for end user consumption
- Author technical documentation and diagrams
- Understand and document business requirements and existing processes as they relate to information systems and solutions
- May provide training or guidance to staff
- Adhere to agreed-upon work schedule
- Must be available to work over Summer
- Other technical duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Complete projects in a timely manner
- Knowledge of and basic proficiency UI/UX programming using HTML/5, DHTML CSS/3, XML, JavaScript, etc
- General knowledge of databases and data handling
- Basic proficiency in T/SQL, Stored Procs, Functions, Views
- Ability to work well independently and as a member of team
- Ability to quickly learn independently and apply new technical concepts
- Ability to switch focus according to changing requirements
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Available to work remotely and on premise as needed
- A strong desire to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with .NET and T/SQL
- Experience with business process applications and automation in web-based environments
