Marketing Internship (Summer 2025 $1000 Stipend)

WHO WE SEEK

Are you a college student with an interest in gaining hands-on experience in a non-profit organization? Then you belong with us!
 

Join our team as a Marketing Intern for the summer (mid-May until the end of August) and learn from marketing professionals about social media and website content creation, email marketing, collateral design, event promotion, and more!
 

This exciting opportunity will allow you to collaborate with our experienced Marketing and Development teams to better understand how our marketing strategy contributes to our organization’s overall success.

 

ABOUT US

Each year, the Carroll Center for the Blind helps nearly 1,300 blind or visually impaired children, adults and senior citizens gain the skills they need to live independent and fulfilling lives. Our Newton campus houses our rehabilitation program, computer training classes, low vision store, and administrative offices. A large portion of our programs are services conducted in public schools, students’ homes, and their communities.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos for use on the website, social media, marketing emails, flyers, and other creative materials.
  • Support event and program promotion through content creation for the website, email campaigns, and social media.
  • Assist with copywriting for various marketing and communications initiatives.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in marketing, communications, or a related field required.
  • Prior marketing internship is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal/written communication skills required.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment required.
  • Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Docs required.
  • Experience using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
  • Well-versed in Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn preferred.
