Are you passionate about energy markets and data-driven decision-making? We're hiring an Electric Market Analyst to join a fast-growing, entrepreneurial energy firm based in Buffalo, NY. This is a full-time, in-person position ideal for recent graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of experience.

In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally to analyze electricity markets, develop innovative tools, and support strategic initiatives within the electricity supply business. You’ll gain hands-on experience with energy analytics, forecasting, and customer support — and contribute directly to the company’s growth in renewable energy and consulting services.

Key Responsibilities

Market Strategy & Analysis: Monitor and analyze wholesale electricity markets. Provide insights to inform pricing and purchasing strategies.

Tool & Platform Development: Improve internal software platforms and build dashboards to streamline operations.

AI & Analytics: Support AI/ML initiatives to automate analysis and enhance forecasting accuracy.

Community Solar Support: Help manage billing and customer data for community solar projects.

Customer Account Management: Assist with data analysis and reporting for large commercial and industrial clients.

Business Modeling: Develop financial and operational models to identify growth opportunities and improve efficiency.

What We’re Looking For

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field.

Strong Excel skills; familiarity with Python, SQL, or R is a plus.

Interest in energy markets, sustainability, and renewable energy.

Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Adaptable and entrepreneurial mindset; eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
