Quality Health Safety and Enviromental Analyst - Intern

Location: OI North America – Concord, MA

Role: Quality Health Safety and Enviromental Analyst - Intern part time 

Reports to: QHSE Manager

Reports: N/A

 

Key Relationships:

Assist QHSE Manager with creating company documentation - departmental flows, process flows, procedures, work instruction, and forms.

 

Primary Purpose:

With strong corporate support, to help with the implementation of an integrated management system covering quality, health, safety and environment standards.  To work with all departments to create departmental documentation and other duties assigned by the QHSE Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • To aid in working with departments to create departmental flow, process flows, procedures, work instructions, and forms.
  • To carry our other reasonable duties that may be needed.

 

Work Schedule

  • Part time – 30-hour work weeks with flexible schedule
  • Working on site with possible part time remote
  • Duration – 7 months

  • Completion of all company documentation
  •  

Person Specification – Essential requirements unless stated

Education / Qualifications:

  • Working toward a quality assurance degree with project management skills and an understanding of quality process and procedures a plus,

Professional Skills/ Abilities:

  • Professional writing.
  • Organized.
  • Work well with all levels of management.
  • The ability to create process flows.
  • Understanding of ISO management systems in compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards a plus.

Personal Qualities:

  • Great communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
