Join the Presidential Internship Program at the Council for Global Health Scholars (CGHS). As a Chapter President Intern, you’ll launch one of the founding CGHS chapters on your campus—giving you exclusive access to practical leadership experience, networking opportunities, and a platform to drive real-world impact.
Key Responsibilities
Establish & Lead a CGHS Chapter
Recruit a Faculty Advisor and build your Executive Board
Oversee chapter operations, including budgeting, planning, and event management
Organize and lead on-campus and virtual events that foster healthcare innovation
Drive Student Engagement
Inspire peers to join CGHS, emphasizing the value of interdisciplinary collaboration
Promote chapter initiatives through marketing campaigns, social media, and partnerships with other student organizations
Develop Leadership & Management Skills
Manage team dynamics, delegate tasks, and refine strategic decision-making
Work alongside mentors from CGHS headquarters to refine your leadership approach and grow your chapter
Champion Healthcare Innovation
Facilitate discussions and projects that address global health challenges
Encourage fellow students to pursue innovative solutions and create lasting community impact
