Learning and Development Manager
Summary
The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for planning, developing, organizing, facilitating, presenting, disseminating and evaluating training programs.
Responsibilities
Learning & Development
- Manage the planning and development of training and staff development programs to meet all required training and agency standards using various methods such as classroom training, online training modules, demonstrations, conferences and workshops.
- Teach live and virtual sessions as directed.
- Confer with management and field staff to identify training needs. Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs.
- Develop testing and evaluation procedures.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and provide data to the Director of Quality & Innovation through reporting and dashboards.
- Develop and deliver training to external stakeholders as directed.
- Develop and organize training manuals, multimedia visual aids, training modules and other educational materials using Articulate Suite, PowerPoint, Canva and other software that can be delivered in person or via training modules.
- Capture content by using Teams Meetings, live recording via camera, and audio as directed.
- Assist in performing documentation audits as indicated with the Director of Quality & Innovation.
- Attend committees, meetings and training courses as required.
- Assist in developing long-range plans for what the training and development structure, organization, direction, policies and practices will be in order to accomplish the organization's mission.
- Assist in maintaining recordkeeping systems for staff training and development.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
- Two years of experience serving people with disabilities required.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience developing and implementing training content required.
- Driver’s license with acceptable record required.
- Meet background study requirements.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
