Portkey SEO Solutions is a Digital Marketing Agency. We help local small businesses with their online presence. We improve online visibility through using effective SEO strategies to help drive up business and increase phone calls for the companies we work with.

The Website & Graphic Designer will go through training to perform several projects for Portkey SEO's customers. There is a 90-day probationary period to see if it is a good fit. If we see serious potential in the individual, we may transition them over to full-time salaried with benefits.

Projects will include:

1) Working with website building platforms to build beautiful and SEO friendly websites+ create custom graphics, logo's and branding.

2) WordPress Web Development experience is a requirement - large part of your position will include web development projects on WordPress, and edits/changes/updates to existing client websites. Candidate must have built multiple websites on WordPress in the past and be able to show us their work.

3) Customer/Lead database consolidation and outreach

4) Customer Account management

This position is in Office located in St. Anthony/Roseville.

Hours: 40 hours a week

Experience: Complete proficiency in WordPress and WordPress theme development, designs and edits, HTML, PHP coding experience preferred. Must be proficient in Adobe Photoshop. Must have built WordPress websites before and show examples of work. Must have portfolio of graphics designed in the past. Must have ability to write really well.

Location: Saint Anthony/Roseville, Minnesota

Salary Level: PAID/HOURLY to SALARY

Pay: From $25-$27 per hour starting pay

Job Duties:

  • Draft mockups of website designs, brochures, iconography, and any other marketing materials required
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and management to discuss which mockups are effective, and use their feedback to develop final drafts
  • Revise the work of previous designers to create a unified aesthetic for our brand materials
  • Work on multiple projects at once, and consistently meet draft deadlines
  • Communicate frequently with clients to update them on the progress of the project and to answer any questions they might have
  • Other duties as requested

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
