Speech and Language Pathologist
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in speech and language pathology from an accredited college or university
- Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with an endorsement in Speech correction preferred and/or current Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Evidence of successful clinical experience in communication disorders and language development at the school-age level
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in developing speech and language skills to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students
- Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students
- Provide resources and consultation services to staff and parents/guardians to support communication programs for children
- Uses appropriate data gathering procedures and strategies to conduct needs-based assessments
- Participate in student meetings, to include, but not limited to IFSP and IEP meetings
2025-2026 SALARY SCHEDULE (subject to contract negotiations):

M.A. Max. $88,661 M.A. +30 Max. $91,445
