ANNOUNCEMENT OF VACANCY
POSITION:      ART TEACHER
2025/26 School year - 187 days a year LOCATION:     Johnson Junior High/Pierce High/Alternative 
High

CREDENTIAL:   California Teaching Credential in Art

DUTIES:        Including, but not limited to: Develop course objectives for each assigned area of 
study.  Develop and use daily lesson plans. Establish and manage records of achievement and 
attendance for each student. Instruct and manage assigned classes to guide, direct and enhance each 
learner in the achievement of the course objectives. Supervise student activities as assigned.

SALARY:       Salary range $63,397 to $116,206 Internship salary is $54,839
Plus $12,800.00 toward annual health benefits
