Power BI Developer

 Role: Power BI Developer - Pharma Client Exp

Location: Dallas, TX, 2-3 Days onsite


Role Description
We are looking for a skilled Power BI Developer to design and develop business intelligence solutions, create dashboards, and generate reports to help drive data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Power BI, data modeling, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and SQL, along with a deep understanding of data visualization and business analytics.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
  • Connect and integrate various data sources, including databases, cloud services, and APIs.
  • Perform data modeling and create efficient DAX queries for insightful analytics.
  • Optimize data retrieval and dashboard performance.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security within Power BI solutions.
  • Automate data refreshes and implement row-level security (RLS) for data governance.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features, trends, and best practices.

 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience working with Power BI or similar BI tools.
  • Proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Power Query (M language).
  • Experience in data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and database management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Azure, Power Automate, Power Apps, or other Microsoft BI stack components is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience with Azure Synapse, Client, or other cloud data platforms.
  • Understanding of machine learning, AI-driven analytics, or predictive modeling.

Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies for BI development
