Toyota-Denso Automotive Compressor Georgia, Inc. (TACG), established in 2004, is a subsidiary of Toyota Industries Corporation (TICO). TICO is a leading global manufacturer of automobile parts and assemblies, material handling equipment, and provider of logistics solutions. TACG specializes in the manufacturing of automobile air conditioning compressors.
TACG is based in Pendergrass, Georgia. This position is on-site at TACG 1000 Valentine industrial Parkway, Pendergrass GA 30657.
Department Purpose:
The safety, heath & environmental department works in a direction to protect the environment, employee’s health and safety. The “SHE” department is a legal requirement and apart from that, it works in a direction to improve the safety standards of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with data collection, monitoring, and reporting to ensure compliance with environmental permits (e.g., Title V Air Permit).
- Support the development of environmental management programs and procedures.
- Perform inspections and evaluations of control measures, including storm water BMPs and emission controls.
- Assist in preparing and submitting environmental regulatory reports (e.g., SARA 312 and 313).
- Participate in sustainability planning and waste reduction projects.
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies to maintain compliance.
- Contribute to the development of training materials related to environmental regulations.
- Assist with air permit applications and storm water management programs.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and data analysis techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
