Position Title: Operations Data Analysis, Emerging Talent Intern
Hourly Rate: $19.00 (Undergraduate), $21.00 (Graduate), $22.00 (post-graduate)
Overview of Department:
The Operations Data Analysis intern will support an established data science team in analyzing performance data and developing business intelligence tools to enhance operational efficiency. This role contributes to the creation of training materials and reporting tools that improve decision-making, optimize fiscal performance, and empower stations employees with actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Support creation of a Station Supervisor Training Program
- Facilitate Station Agent Training Programs
- Work to improve our data visualization tools in MS Power BI
- Improvement and deployment of Digital Station Time Control Log
- Improve development of our Performance Reporting Programs
- Facilitate employee engagement and workforce development programs
- Participate in process improvement programs that improve operating efficiency
- Annual goal development and presentation to senior and executive management
Projects:
- Station Time Control Log
- Development of business intelligence tools using PowerBI
- Development of applications to improve performance at our crew staffing office
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
- The candidate should possess organizational, analytical and communication skills.
- Experience programming in MS PowerApps, MS Dynamics, Python
- Experience in data visualization creation in Power BI
Required Education:
- Matriculated in graduate in good standing with at least 2.8 GPA
- Major(s) Preferred: Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
