Mental Health Clinician/counselor/psychologist/social worker

Creating Peace of Mind Cognitive Behavioral Health, LLC is an Outpatient Mental Health private practice looking for Mental Health Clinicians: Counselors, Psychologists, and Social workers.  Dr Dalske is willing to provide clinical supervision towards licensure for newer clinicians who show exceptional promise.  We have openings for Licensed Psychologists, Advanced Practice Nurses with mental health specialties, LCSW, LCPC, LPC with experience, licensed or license eligible in Illinois. We have a need for providers at all levels, including independent Doctoral level providers and Psychologists, and Mental health providers with advanced licensure and experience who are looking to share a space and collaborate, as well as new clinicians looking for support in starting clinical work. We accept private pay, and insurance reimbursement, and can immediately add clinicians to our rosters who licensed in the State of Illinois, and those with previous insurance credentialing, although for those who want to start with one to two days a week, and build, we will help credential if needed. Reimbursement ranges from $35,000 to $160,000 based upon licensure level and number of clients seen per week.   Clinicians may be considered for shared rental of office space rather than employee, if desired.

Creating Peace of Mind is located in Swansea IL, between Belleville and O’Fallon IL area.  The practice is directed by Licensed Psychologist, Robin Dalske, PsyD, who has been practicing in this area for 15 years. We are expanding rapidly and looking for the right clinicians to join our team, as well as office staff and students who are dedicated to human services, studying in mental health fields looking for internship experiences. We are dedicated to appropriate care with respect to people of all genders, races, religions, sexual orientation, and cultural backgrounds. Acceptance is a must for all members of our staff. We emphasize collaborative care, so attendance and participation in case consultation  is required to join our team. We currently provide individual, family, and couple’s therapy to adults, and children as young as 12 years old. We provide mostly in office, but also limited video sessions to our patrons as clinically appropriate. Our coping skills group is restarting in April 2025.  Trauma, retirement, or Anger management groups may be available to co-lead in future. We are also open to providers specializing with children, and do have a clinical space equipped for play therapy. Currently we have many referrals for various presenting problems, with most common diagnosis being adjustment disorders, anxiety and depression, but there has been an increase in need for treatment of OCD, couples therapy, and comorbid medical stressors, personality disorders, Mood disorders, family/child behavioral and social concerns, and self harm and eating disorder. We provide goal-based therapy, with cognitive behavioral, behavioral, and mindfulness/DBT treatment, and CPT for trauma, specialty sleep disorders care, support for LGBT-Q? individuals working on identity development, multicultural and assessments, and can provide supervision in those areas. Clinicians with similar theoretical orientations are encouraged to apply, although other specialties will also be considered, if not counter to our theoretical approach. Clinicians must have prior in person clinical mental health experience of at least one year from previous graduate training, clinical medical work  or internships, as well as the ability to track and meet deadlines independently,  strong clinical writing skills, basic skills in differential diagnosis, and comfort with privacy and safety laws and ethics. Clinicians must have the ability to express their professional needs and ability to present difficult cases to gain supervision and support in diagnosis and treatment planning.  All newly or provisionally licensed professionals must commit to working towards higher level of licensure to practice independently within 2-3 years.  Our environment is business casual to professional attire.

Clinicians may add their furniture or décor if they prefer. Clinicians and students will be expected to be in office at least two days a week, including weekly Clinical Case Staffing Lunch meetings on Wed or Thurs. Based upon experience level, clinicians may also be able to offer video therapy platform for support for work from home, on a limited basis, but clinicians under supervision must see patients face to face in the office between Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm.
