✨ Who We’re Looking For

We are hiring a Lead Teacher who may or may not have Montessori certification—but who brings:

  • A passion for early childhood education
  • Classroom experience (preschool, pre-K, or toddler)
  • A willingness to train in Montessori (we’ll support you!)
  • Strong communication with children and families
  • Reliability, curiosity, and a love of learning
  • Bonus points for experience in multicultural or multilingual settings.

🎯 Responsibilities

  • Lead a preschool classroom using Montessori-inspired practices
  • Develop engaging, age-appropriate, hands-on activities
  • Observe and document children’s growth and learning
  • Build positive, respectful relationships with families
  • Guide and collaborate with assistant teachers and volunteers
  • Help foster independence, kindness, and confidence in every child

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1+ year experience working with preschool-age children
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must pass background check per WA state licensing requirements
