Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Health Science Writer to produce well-researched, engaging, and accessible content related to pediatric sleep for the Moonleaping app. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health or medical writing, with the ability to translate complex scientific information into content that resonates with parents and caregivers.​

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation: Develop articles, guides, and educational materials on pediatric sleep topics for inclusion in the app and associated platforms.​

Research: Conduct thorough reviews of current literature and studies on children's sleep to ensure content is accurate and up-to-date.​

Collaboration: Work closely with the Pediatric Sleep Specialist Consultant and the app development team to align content with scientific insights and app features.​

Editing and Proofreading: Ensure all content meets high standards of clarity, accuracy, and engagement, tailored to the target audience.​

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Health Sciences, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.​

Experience: Minimum of 3 years in health or medical writing, preferably with experience in pediatric topics.​

Skills:

Exceptional writing and editing abilities.​

Ability to interpret and synthesize scientific research for a general audience.​

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.​

Preferred Qualifications

Experience writing for digital health platforms or applications.​

Familiarity with SEO best practices for content creation.​
