CMM Operator

CMM Operator - Part time Location: Grand Rapids, MI, 49512 Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled CMM Operator to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience in CMM operations and be able to accurately measure and inspect parts using a Coordinate Measuring Machine.

20 hours per week, evenings.  No weekends

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CMM equipment to measure parts according to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on CMM machines to ensure accuracy
• Analyze measurement data and generate reports for quality control purposes
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve any quality issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

• Previous experience with CMM operations required
• Preferred experience with Hexagon Global CMM
• Ability to run PC-DMIS CMM software and Data Page Suite
• Familiar with reading blueprints and working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of GD&T principles
