Pride Olympics at Taste of Chicago 2025 - Event Planning Team

(Remote Position, 15-20 hrs/week)

Help us produce Chicago's most vibrant LGBTQIA+ celebration! We're building an unforgettable experience featuring:

• Entertainment: Pride Fashion Show & Drag Show Extravaganza


• Ceremonies: LGBTQIA+ Honoree Awards

• Sports: Pickleball Tournament, Flag Football & Ring Toss Games,;etc.

• Community: Live Performances

As a Remote Planning Intern, You'll:

✓ Coordinate virtual logistics for our 6 to 8 event program

✓ Manage participant communications for sports competitions
 ✓ Assist with honoree selection process and ceremony scripting
 ✓ Help design inclusive programming for diverse audiences

Event Planning Focus Areas:

• Fashion Show Production (model coordination, runway layout)
 • Drag Show Logistics (performer schedules, tech requirements)
 • Sports Tournament Management (registration, rulesheets)

• Ceremony Planning (awards, speeches, VIP coordination)

We Need Interns Who:

• Can work remotely 15-20 hrs/week (flexible schedule)

• Are passionate about LGBTQIA+ community events

• Enjoy both creative planning and detail coordination

• Can attend 2-3 weekly virtual team meetings (CT timezone)
