Battery Cell Safety Engineer
I. Job Responsibilities:
- Sort out product safety requirements and problem classifications, and identify the common scientific problems behind mechanisms, interfaces and materials, detection technologies, etc.
- Develop advanced battery safety analysis methods, and deeply analyze the mechanisms of battery safety failures and the thermal runaway process.
- Close the loop between safety improvement design and the verification of battery cell safety improvement.
II. Job Requirements:
- Hold a doctoral degree.
- Majors related to materials science, chemistry, chemical engineering, electrochemistry, etc.
- Have good English proficiency, being able to read professional literature fluently and conduct technical exchanges.
- Have solid professional knowledge in electrochemistry, organic/inorganic chemistry, solid-state physics, etc. Those who understand the failure mechanism of battery cells will be preferred.
- Have an in-depth understanding of the combustion/explosion mechanisms of materials, and possess research experience in the combustion kinetics and explosion during the thermal runaway of battery cells.
- Have the ability of continuous learning, being proficient in reading literature, tracking cutting-edge technologies and conducting rapid verification; possess good cross-departmental coordination and communication skills, logical thinking and expression abilities, leadership and execution capabilities.
