As a Strategic Research Intern, you will participate in a unique internship to conduct a study that will benefit all HBCUs. In partnership with the Student Freedom Initiative and reporting to the Corporate Strategy & Research Manager at Ellucian, this intern will lead an initiative to analyze the impact of technological transformation (e.g., SaaS adoption, AI integration) on HBCU finances, student success, and ESG accountability. Building on the 2024 HBCU Shift Report, you will explore how modern administrative systems can enhance institutional performance while considering market conditions and HBCUs' unique challenges, including testing the hypothesis that technology investment is more important at institutions with fewer resources and historic underinvestment. During the internship, you will focus on formulating the study, including identifying which components to measure through primary research versus secondary research, conducting the research and analyzing the results
