Pay Range: $20.55 to $29.82
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
TRAINING
Kwik Trip, Inc. operates its own Training Department in Onalaska, WI. Our Training Department is responsible for developing and presenting training to Certified Training Store Leaders, Certified Training Food service Leaders, and Assistant Store Leaders, providing customer service and leadership training for Guest Service Leaders, conducting continuing education for all Retail Leaders and developing new materials for various projects completed at Kwik Trip, Inc. Although most training is delivered at the Support Center, some training is conducted at locations throughout the Upper Midwest
Full Time Training Coordinator I, La Crosse WI: Job responsibilities include:
- Conducting technical and soft skills training with Store Leaders, Certified Assistant Store Leaders, Assistant Store Leaders, Guest Service Leaders, and Retail Coworkers including Food Service Leaders/Coworkers
- Collaborating with departments across the Support Center to write and update instructional manuals.
- Basic researching, developing, and updating curriculum.
Qualifications:
- Excellent writing and research skills
- Bachelor’s degree in education, business and/or communication or equivelent experience
- Practical platform training experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel with some overnights (approximately 4 weeks per year)
- Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record
- Willingness to relocate to La Crosse, WI area
- Previous Kwik Trip and/or retail experience is a plus.
- A strong understanding of food safety and knowledge of Kwik Trip’s food program is a plus.
Physical qualifications: standing for up to 10 hours; lifting up to 50 pounds; bending; reaching; twisting.
Work Schedule: Typically Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional weekend travel.
