CPG Account Manager
Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, the CPG Account Manager will have responsibility for managing and building the commercial relationship with CPG clients. The position will also support marketing efforts for AppCard’s CPG platform. The role would be based in our Manhattan office. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, hard-worker and has strong organizational skills. Success in the role will require a relationship-oriented approach with exceptional communication abilities to fully understand the diverse needs of a wide variety of CPGs and tailor insights and campaigns unique to each account. The successful candidate will be able to identify new opportunities for the CPG account and grow overall sales.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the point-of-contact for CPG partner accounts and act as the voice of CPGs within AppCard.
- Persuasively articulate the value that AppCard can bring to CPGs through demonstrable ROI and marketing practices.
- Juggle numerous internal activities while ensuring that CPG campaigns are effectively programmed and executed.
- Interpret and present campaign results using AppCard’s data warehousing and business intelligence tools.
- Develop a deep understanding of the CPG industry.
- Collaborate with data, marketing and retailer management teams across AppCard to run campaigns.
- Ensure that sales targets are met each month.
- Execute work requests from the Chief Growth Officer.
- Conduct yourself in a manner that reflects company values.
Candidate Qualifications:
- 1+ years successful relationship management or marketing experience in providing data/marketing/technology solutions to the CPG or grocery retail industry, preferably in digital coupon, shopper marketing and/or interactive digital media marketing.
- High IQ and extraordinary work ethic
- Recent and relevant experience in the CPG vertical selling to agencies and/or brand-direct stakeholders at senior marketing and C-suite level is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams.
- Solid understanding of the digital landscape.
- Ability to identify opportunities, grow accounts and retain clients.
- Ability to assess the business goals and formulate account development strategy.
- Strong digital skills (media, promotion, online and mobile, shopper and analytics).
- Passion for creating value for customers, deep understanding of industry level data media buying, and client ROI.
- Ability to remain focused and flexible during rapid change.
- Effective communication across multiple levels of an organization.
- Works well in a team/highly collaborative environment.

**This role is full-time from our NYC office**
Salary Range: $65,000 – $75,000
