Eligibility criteria:
- Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with a graduation date in 2026 or 2027.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
- 10 week commitment for 40 hours per week with availability to start June 10th 2024
- Must be able to commute to the office to work at least 3 days onsite
Position Summary:
As a DevOps Intern, you’ll collaborate with our development, operations, and security teams to help streamline our deployment pipelines, optimize infrastructure performance, and ensure smooth delivery of our applications and services. You'll have the chance to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, CI/CD tools, and automation frameworks — all while sharpening your problem-solving and technical skills.
Whether you're scripting, monitoring systems, or automating workflows, you'll play a key role in ensuring reliability, efficiency, and scalability across our platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the migration of existing infrastructure and applications to SCP platform.
- Work closely with team members to understand the current architecture and design a new architecture on SCP.
- Developing and implementing automated testing scripts to ensure the quality of migrated applications and infrastructure.
- Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to developers on potential improvements to code quality and security.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas where automation can be implemented to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Conducting research on emerging technologies and trends in the field of DevOps and making recommendations for adoption within the organization.
- Maintaining documentation of processes and procedures related to SCP migrations and QA initiatives.
- Providing support during deployment and maintenance activities, including troubleshooting issues and resolving incidents.
- Staying up-to-date with industry best practices and standards related to DevOps, cloud computing, and software development.
Qualifications:
- Education path pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Excellent command of English-US language.
- Novice understanding of DevOps tools, ITIL, & cloud computing concepts.
- Interest to learn about and deliver cloud-based solutions to customers
- Knowledge of one of the programming languages, such as Java, Python, Ruby, Node.js, C#, or C++
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of DevOps and containerization tools (such as Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform)
- Experience with one or more of the following domains: systems administration (Linux/Window), network administration (DNS, IPsec, BGP, VPN, Load Balancing), or programming (Node.JS, Java, Ruby, C#, Python, or PHP)
