Student Analyst Role Description

This is a part-time (potential for full-time), in-home Student Analyst Position.   A Student Analyst is a registered behavior technician (training provided) that functions as a support to the Board Certified Behavior Analyst to gain field experience hours to sit for their BCBA exam.  As a student analyst, you will be responsible for a small caseload of clients.  Client caseloads are throughout Johnston and Harnett Counties, NC. As a Student Analyst, you will be responsible for implementing behavioral interventions, applying Applied Behavior Analysis techniques, and fostering effective communication with clients and their families.  You will also be training and directing behavior technicians in the implementation of behavior analytic antecedent interventions and consequence strategies in the field.  Additionally, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote the growth and autonomy of families and their children.  You will receive direct supervision for the implementation of assessments, development of treatment plans, monthly client progress reports, and weekly data analysis.  You will also fill in when the technician assigned to one of your cases is out to the best of your ability.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for helping others, specifically children and families with autistic children
  • At least 18 years old
  • Completed the first verified course sequence class within an accredited ABA graduate program
  • Proficiency in effective communication
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records
  • Driver's License with dependable transportation

Preferred:

  • Previous experience implementing behavior analytic concepts 
  • Experience in de-escalation and Behavioral Crisis Interventions 
  • Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and related therapies
  • Experience working with autistic children or other individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Understanding of evidence-based practices and interventions
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
