Survey Intern

Survey Intern (Top-50 Compensation Survey – Spring 2025)

Location: Downtown Chicago (In-person)
Duration: April 14 – July 14

Job Type: Part-time (20 hours per week) 
Department: Sales and Client Services
Compensation: $18/hour

Note: Flexibility during final exams

 

Position Overview

Equilar is seeking an intern to support the annual refresh of our Top-50 Executive Compensation Survey database. This internship is ideal for students interested in human resources, corporate governance, executive compensation, client services, or consulting. As a Survey Intern, you’ll play a key role in driving survey participation and processing submissions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive survey participation through outreach efforts, including email, LinkedIn, and phone communication.
  • Respond to survey-related inquiries from clients and prospects.
  • Monitor engagement with survey materials and collateral.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to engage strategic accounts.
  • Assist in collecting and validating survey data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Business, Finance, Economics, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail. Interest in executive compensation, corporate governance, or HR analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data management is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
