The Newton Community School District is accepting applications for a School Counselor for the 2025-2026 school year.

Candidates must hold a current State of Iowa Elementary and/or Secondary Counseling License and have a M.A. in elementary (K-8) and/or secondary (5-12) school counseling. 

• This position does require one of the following endorsements:
  • 5-12 Professional School Counselor (173)
  • K-8 Professional School Counselor (172)
