Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Laser Engineers to design and optimize optomechanical components.
  • Perform initial and ongoing design reviews
  • Develop CAD project drawings and review drawings from team members for accuracy
  • Deliver documentation offering a critical analysis and suggestions for correcting errors
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 2+ years’ experience in mechanical design, preferred in optical and laser industries.
  • Strong knowledge in SolidWorks software and drafting procedures
  • Excellent prioritization and project development skills
