How You’ll Contribute:
As an Investment Operations Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of investment operations. You will review trade blotters, communicate with brokers, reconcile cash and trade activity, prepare security setup information, and support the Investment Operations team. Your work will involve cross-functional collaboration and exposure to various asset classes.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist in reviewing trades to ensure proper execution of settlements and confirmations.
- Reconcile trade activity related to cash and investment holdings.
- Maintain investment portfolios and resolve any setup issues in a timely manner.
- Support investment operations projects and ad hoc requests.
- Prepare reports and complete special assignments as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
What You’ll Bring:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Experience:
- At least 1 year of experience in an investment operations-related internship or role.
- Experience working in a team environment within trade operations.
- Preferred: 2 years of investment operations experience, familiarity with trading platforms, and knowledge of SWIFT, FIX, and DTC utilities.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods.
- Minimal physical lifting requirements.
Where You’ll Work:
- Location: Chicago, Illinois
- Work Arrangements: Mostly On-Site
- Travel Requirements: 10%-20%
Compensation and Pay Philosophy:
The pay range for this role is $69,600.00-$95,700.00. This reflects the expected compensation for the position at the time of posting. The final offer will be based on factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, geographic location, and internal equity, and may be higher or lower than the posted range. The pay range is subject to change in the future in accordance with applicable laws. EquiTrust is committed to fair and competitive compensation that considers individual and organizational needs.
