Engineer

ARCH Cutting Tools specializes in indexable cutting tools and special-order designs. The Engineering team works to complete drawings, prints, and other documents that will serve as a roadmap for the machinist who are completing the work projects on the floor. 

We are open to part-time and full-time talent joining the team.  Engineering students welcome to apply if they are at least halfway through the course of study and able to use AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc. 

Summary: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• work on incoming models and drawings as well as update existing models and drawings to current standards.
• Understand the manufacturing process and create drawings to support manufacturing operations.
• Interface with shop floor team members, supervisors, engineers, quality inspectors, and other team members to document engineering and manufacturing processes.

Knowledge/Skills

• Strong interest in manufacturing
• SolidWorks with some knowledge of Dimensioning
• Ability to interpret drawings to include GD&T.
• AutoCAD experience.

Education and/or Experience 

• Pursuing a professional education from an accredited college or University in the field of engineering.
