Business Development Executive

The opportunity: 

Our client is a rapidly scaling financial consulting firm, serving private equity and growth-focused business clients across North America. They pride themselves on helping businesses achieve growth through strategic decision-making. They are seeking an ambitious Business Development Executive to join their US team and grow their presence in the greater Atlanta market.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute prospecting strategies to identify new business opportunities within their target markets.
  • Engage key contacts via telephone, LinkedIn, email, and social media, moving leads through the sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and consulting teams to create compelling proposals and close new business.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales pipeline, and forecasts using Salesforce.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences and networking events to build relationships and generate leads.
  • Conduct market research to stay current on trends in financial modelling, data analytics, and due diligence.
  • Contribute to the creation and customization of marketing materials and thought leadership to engage prospects.
  • Be willing to travel internationally as needed. 




 

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business administration or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, with a focus on B2B or outbound sales.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills to effectively engage prospects and clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel skills highly desirable); familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter with a high level of energy, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
  • Desire to contribute to the long-term success of a growing firm.
