The Canton Police Department, located in Canton, Illinois, is currently accepting applications for entry level police officer (those with little to no experience) as well as experienced applicants.  We are a department serving a community of approximately 14,000.  We offer starting pay at $56,838, which will increase to $59,112 on May 1 of 2025. Top pay for 30-year Lt. is $107,204.  We also offer a pension and excellent benefits. There will be several openings to fill.  Deadline for applications to be turned in is May 16th, 2025.
