Dean of Students - AIMS Graduate Assistant
The Graduate Assistant for the office of the Dean of students works under the joint
supervision of the Dean of Students and Assistant Dean of Students for Underrepresented and At-Risk Populations and will receive training and work directly with students within certain populations to increase student retention and sense of belonging on campus. Specifically Males - especially males of color, and athletes from diverse backgrounds.
The GA will also have the opportunity to assist with, and take the lead on, special projects
with the AIMS program, including mentoring of student leaders and providing substantial
support and direct execution of programing for the Achievement Initiative for Male Success (AIMS) program (a male mentoring program designed to support male students enrolled at
Kutztown University).
This position is for 20 hours/week of work (300 hours for the spring semester), and it provides a tuition waiver for 9 graduate credits plus a stipend of $3,750 per semester. Please contact Bernard McCree for additional information if needed at mccree@kutztown.edu.
