Company Description
RTX Fintech and research develops and operates the 1st fully electronic inter-dealer marketplace for interest rate swaps and other derivatives. The marketplace is an innovative platform that provides dealers with fast, efficient price discovery, electronic execution and straight-through processing.
RTX is a CFTC regulated Swap Execution Facility (SEF) in the US. As part of our expansion into Europe, RTX is registering with the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) as a Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) based in Ireland.
Role Description
Opportunity to design and implement a global, real-time interactive trading system for the interdealer marketplace. The platform will be 100% deployed in AWS, accessed via the internet and designed on a core sequencer trading architecture. The platform is a 100% ground up replacement of an existing vendor platform
Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Develop and implement testing automation of the trading system using Playwright and Postman
- Create and run stability and performance testing scripts
- Create and refine new features and functionality on the trading platform following a test-driven-development methodology.
- Participate in regular software development cycle. Actively contribute to the delivery of new features and functions.
- Ensure each new software release is fast, reliable, and resilient.

Desired Experience
- Software engineering and/or test automation for high volume transaction processing systems
- Start-up environment
- Agile / Scrum software development lifecycle with CI/CD
