Design Verification Engineering Intern

Johnson Service Group, a nationally award-winning staffing firm, has an immediate opening for Design Verification Engineering Intern for a global medical device organization in Goleta, CA.

Hybrid | $28 - $33/Hr. Based on Experience | 1 Year Contract Role

Job Summary:

Join a dynamic team of engineers designing endoscopic cameras and imaging systems for one of the world-leading medical device manufacturers of surgical equipment. The Design Verification Engineering Intern will support design verification activities including test methodology research, test fixture development, data analysis, and documentation tasks. 

Seeking a candidate who can work full-time (40h/week) during summer break and part-time during the school year. The schedule can be somewhat flexible, given prior agreement between the intern and their manager.

Required Skills:    
•    Good written and verbal communication skills.  

Desired Skills:    
•    Familiarity with technical documentation, programming, statistics, data analysis, and research. 
•    Experience working in engineering labs or courses with hands-on application of engineering topics. 
•    Experience working on multi-disciplinary teams or projects. 

Degree Requirements:    
•    Entering 3rd year (or above) in university in engineering or related technical discipline. Minimum 3.0 GPA.
