Signal Integrity Engineer
Signal Integrity Engineer
Meadowlark Aircraft’s (www.meadowlarkaircraft.com) Design Configuration Group is seeking a highly capable electrical/electronics engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, model, test, and analyze communication paths across aircraft subsystems and components to ensure reliable signal performance and electromagnetic integrity.
You will evaluate and resolve challenges such as crosstalk noise, bandwidth constraints, load stress, and impedance mismatches. Your work will span both PCB-level design and aircraft-wide transmission lines, contributing directly to the resilience and performance of our uncrewed aerial systems. You’ll also implement innovative signal integrity solutions that are robust against evolving anti-drone countermeasures.
Located in Grand Forks, ND—the epicenter of the drone industry—Meadowlark designs, manufactures, and markets customizable (bespoke) unmanned aerial systems. We focus on long-endurance, mid-size vertical take-off-and-landing (VTOL) solutions and offer a comprehensive array of products and services that span the entire aircraft production and maintenance lifecycle. We value professional integrity, teamwork, execution, growth, persistence, and agility in our staff.
Meadowlark offers a competitive salary, stock options, 401(k) match, health insurance reimbursement, most Federal holidays, and flexible “as-needed” paid time off.
The ideal candidate:
- Has (or anticipates receiving by Spring 2025) a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics, or Applied Mathematics
- Demonstrates strong theoretical and practical knowledge of EM wave propagation, from RF through microwave frequencies
- Has experience working with signal integrity analysis, simulation, and testing tools
- Possesses excellent technical comprehension and communication skills
- Can collaborate closely with systems engineering and manufacturing teams
- Is capable of coordinating with external vendors and component suppliers
- Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment
The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and must successfully pass a background check and drug testing for prohibited substances as defined by Federal regulations. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Grand Forks, North Dakota. Your resume or cover letter should clearly reflect these requirements to be considered.
