Marketing and Social Media Lead

Sukha is more than a gym—we are a private member club built around fitness, wellness, and community. Our mission is to foster an inclusive space where individuals can grow both physically and mentally. We’re seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing & Social Media Lead to enhance our brand, expand our online presence, and engage our community in impactful ways.

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management

  • Plan, schedule, and post in-feed content and stories for Sukha’s social channels.
  • Engage with the community by responding to comments and messages.
  • Develop and implement a growth strategy to expand Sukha’s online presence.

Personal Brand Management (Bryan Tissot & Dylan Smith – Co-Founders of Sukha)

  • Overhaul and manage both Instagram profiles.
  • Develop and execute content strategies to enhance their personal branding.
  • Capture engaging content for social media.
  • Build and manage brand partnerships.

Content Creation & Direction

  • Lead and support content shoots by developing detailed moodboards and creative direction that align with Sukha’s brand aesthetics.
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and creative teams to ensure consistent visual storytelling.
  • Oversee on-site content creation, ensuring high-quality, engaging material that resonates with our community.

Marketing & Brand Strategy

  • Create and execute campaigns to increase Sukha’s brand presence.
  • Develop strategies to attract new members and drive community engagement.
  • Build and maintain partnerships to enhance Sukha’s visibility.

Email Marketing & Print Materials

  • Write and design two newsletters per month.
  • Track email performance and optimize strategies for better engagement.
  • Design and print marketing materials for events and announcements.

Event Marketing & Support

  • Promote Sukha events for maximum turnout and engagement.
  • Be onsite to capture content and create real-time marketing materials.

Website & Online Presence

  • Update and maintain Sukha’s website to ensure accurate information.
  • Manage and optimize Sukha’s presence on Google and Yelp, including responding to reviews.

Retail Marketing

  • Develop content showcasing Sukha’s retail offerings.
  • Design and launch exclusive retail collections aligned with our brand identity.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns around product launches.

Additional Skills: 

  • Creative storyteller with a passion for community-building and wellness.
  • Skilled in social media strategy, content creation, video editing, and brand partnerships.
  • Proficient in email marketing (Mailchimp preferred) and graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar).
  • Strong ability to manage and optimize digital platforms, including Google, Yelp, and the Sukha website.
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is willing to be on-site for content creation and community engagement.
