
Sales Assistant
We are adding a Sales Assistant to support sales team. We have a team of incredible sales talent at Staticworx, Inc. and are looking to surround the team with additional support for continued growth in several locations across our business.
The role will evolve into a true partnership with your executive sales team members, understanding the business, and representing the sales staff. The Sales Assistant will provide proactive customer service, acting as a liaison to incoming sales stream as well as outbound sales stream.
This individual is responsible for providing quick resolution and efficiency if an issue occurs, and steady communication to ensure customer satisfaction & support sales team members. This person will assist in work with specifiers, end users, and installers to determine level of ESD protection required and prepare/present findings to sales team members as part of company’s flooring proposal(s).
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and prioritize current jobs, & possible jobs that may be far out which need coordination.
· Serve as a liaison between the executive and sales team members, clients, or perspective clients.
· Assist with Trade Show prep and follow through to support sales team.
· Support customer inquiries by fielding calls while being a source of information and problem solving to customers.
· Maintain excellent housekeeping skills and provide timely and daily communication via phone and email; thorough follow-up on all internal and external requests.
· Help the order process flow; work to solve, avoid, or minimize customer delays by working with internal departments to execute an order to the client from beginning to end.
· Generate and send customer responses and proposals/estimates in a timely manner.
· Correctly enter sample tasks for sample team to execute, estimates, sales orders via phone, CRM, and /or email in a timely manner.
· Help facilitate shipment verification of delivery of samples from our VT headquarters to current clients and/or prospective clients.
· Develop knowledge base of products, including flooring materials, adhesives, installation methods, etc. to better service the customer needs.
· Maintain email correspondence using effective communication to both internal and external stakeholders.
· Develop solution proposals and clearly communicate the advantages and disadvantages of various alternatives.
· Continuously communicate with the team to resolve customer needs and proactively manage workload.
· Work with cross-functional departments within Staticworx.
· Develop a basic understanding of electrostatic discharge flooring in spaces such as labs, manufacturing environments and technology spaces. *Training will be provided to understand our niche materials our business delivers.*
Educational requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent educational background.
Skills and Experience:
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of professionalism.
· Detail-oriented with strong emphasis on quality.
· Utilize NetSuite software and CRM to track technical work and client communications.
· Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work under minimal supervision.
· Excellent verbal and written communication and computer skills. Bilingual Spanish a plus.
· Self-motivated.
· Demonstrate logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to multi-task and stay organized to support sales team members efficiently.
· Ability to relate to customers’ requests and needs.
· Demonstrate desire and aptitude to grow skillset and increase knowledge.
