Postdoctoral Fellow in Biomedical Engineering

Summary of Job Duties:
The Postdoctoral Fellow will lead the development and optimization of complex cell sorting protocols, integrating advanced technologies such as flow cytometry and microfluidics to enhance precision and throughput. The Fellow will design and conduct experiments in molecular and cellular biology, assist in sorting platform development, perform molecular and in vivo characterization of sorted cells, analyze large-scale bioinformatics datasets to identify novel cell subsets and biomarkers, and collaborate with interdisciplinary experts to address pressing research questions. Additionally, they will assist in proposal development, manage day-to-day lab operations, and supervise graduate students.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Minimum Qualifications:
PhD in Biomedical Engineering or related field from an accredited university
Working knowledge of research being undertaken
Laboratory fluency with a strong understanding of policies, procedures, and safety protocols
Additional Information:
This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.
Salary Information:
$57,398.50
