Project Switchgear Quotations Specialist – Delran, NJ
What you will do:
- Foster and maintain excellent working relationships internally with project manager and outside sales representatives
- Communicates with suppliers to discuss material specifications, clarifies, and confirms bill of materials, negotiates pricing, and identifies alternatives for special or custom orders
- Determine costs and sell amounts to maintain appropriate margins
- Effectively review and evaluate electrical drawings and specifications
- Review and input formal quotes accurately
- Identifies potential projects for bid and compiles list of material requirements including, supplies, switchgear, and other distribution apparatuses
- Ensure bid is inclusive of all mandatory requirements
- Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen customer relationships
- Stay current with new product information and emerging technologies
- Communicate with customers to resolve problems with projects during bidding process
- Follows-up on open and outstanding quotations with salespersons and customers to determine status
- Communicate with vendors, account executives, and outside sales reps to ensure quotes and resulting orders are complete.
- Work in a fast-paced team environment
What you will bring:
- Switchgear quotation experience with medium to large sized projects
- Familiarity with Eaton & Siemens product lines
- 3-5 years’ experience quoting medium to large projects
- Experience using Bidman & Compas - preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good and dependable mathematic skills
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Reliable, responsible, organized, detail-oriented and a great work ethic
Salary Range: $60-$90k depending on experience
Location: Delran, NJ
Hours: 7:30AM-4:30PM Mon-Fri
