Data Scientist Intern

Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing to prepare datasets for analysis.

• Collaborate with senior data scientists and other team members to design and implement data models.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of existing data science processes and models.
• Analyze large datasets and identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that can support business decisions.
• Help visualize complex datasets and present results in an understandable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and provide valuable input on data-related tasks.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data analysis techniques and machine learning algorithms.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
• Experience with data manipulation libraries like Pandas, Numpy, or similar.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about data challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A passion for data science and learning new techniques and tools.
