Accountant Intern

Position Overview:
As an Accountant Intern at Startery, you will work closely with the finance team and assist with day-to-day accounting tasks. This internship will provide you with practical exposure to various aspects of accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Help with processing invoices, receipts, and payments.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and financial audits.
• Track and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Prepare and maintain financial spreadsheets and databases.
• Help with preparing financial statements and reports for management review.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
• Assist in compliance with tax regulations and filing procedures.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects and other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
